Buying a Hurricane
ShutterThere are many reasons why you
should buy a hurricane shutter; some of them obvious, some
of them not so obvious.
A hurricane shutter is most
common in the Southern states that often see bad weather a
couple of months during the year. If you do not have these, you
will risk a lot of damage to your house.
Hurricane or “storm panel” shutters are often
constructed out of a solid steel or alumimum frame and provide
protection superior to that of Bahamas, Colonial, wooden, or
vinyl shutters.
This shutter is also considerably less
expensive than decorative shutters. They are also considerably
less attrative–and you may want to put them in storage at the
end of the hurricane season.
Despite their clunky, ugly frame, this
shutter can protect your windows, balcony, or storefront from
bad weather.
